Let me tell you first how English language influenced my life. English language has opened the whole new world for me… I started learning English seriously when I was 15. I was dreaming about going to the USA since I was a child and finally I got the chance! I went to the USA when I was 18 years old as a participant of Work and Travel program. Those months were unbelievably great and it was an absolutely amazing experience in my life. I still consider that trip like a big adventure. I was very young, pretty brave =) and eager to start living on my own, work and earn money, find new friends and travel-travel-travel!! Here is a couple of pictures from those trips. I’ve met so many interesting people from different countries while learning English. I would never communicate with them if I spoke just Russian. I can chat with people from all over the world and it helps me so much in my life. I constantly learn from them and their experience, plus, I improve my English every day! Of course, I give them something back – my knowledge about lots of things, my support and my friendship. Even though I don’t speak like a native speaker (I have an accent and sometimes I can’t understand everything very well) – I can communicate with ANYONE who speaks English – natives and foreigners – at a pretty good level. When I go to another country I feel comfortable there. No needs to say that a trip abroad is a pleasure for me. It is a delight to realize that you are not just a foreigner who does not understand a single word. You can speak their language! =) And the last (for now!) obvious benefit of learning English is that I was able to create this web site in this language and share with you my passion and knowledge about foreign languages!
