To Speak Another Language?

There is a little percent of people who are polyglots. However, there are quite a lot of people who can speak 2-3 languages fluently. Even though they were not so gifted initially like those ones who can speak up to 10 and even more languages.

The idea is that even if you do not speak a foreign language yet, it does not mean that you won’t do one day. No matter how old you are, where you live and what your occupancy is, you can learn to speak any foreign language if you have desire, time, persistence and right tools.

Here is a blueprint for you that will help you succeed in learning your target language.

1. "I can learn it". Believe in your ability to speak a foreign language.

Set up a goal and go for it. I am not saying that it will be easy and always pleasurable, but I am 100% sure that after you overcome the difficulties, you will become proud of yourself.

2. Desire! Confidence! Curiosity! Constancy! Faith in yourself! These are your friends which are always helpful.

Work on your goal every day. Be persistent; work hard to make it come true.

3. If you have the right attitude (and I'm sure you do, otherwise, you wouldn't read this) and act on what you want to get, I promise that one day you will be amazed by results you get.

Remember, it does not matter what you thought about yourself earlier (how "unskilled, etc, you were). The most important thing is what you think and how you act now.

4. Choose a language to learn and just start learning.

…Having once decided to achieve a certain task,
achieve it at all costs of tedium and distaste.
The gain in self-confidence of having accomplished a tiresome labor is immense...

Thomas A. Bennett

So can you easily say, "I Can Learn It" and feel certainty about that now? Great!
